Wellness Made Easy

Wellness Made Easy is a health literacy curriculum for the Lower Eastern Shore, which improves access to health information with the goal of optimal health for our community. Wellness Made Easy does this by helping individuals obtain, process, and understand health information needed to make appropriate health decisions.  Two versions of the curricula are available. One is a pictorial guide, with minimal text, for those with lower levels of general literacy. The other version is written at an early elementary school level. Wellness Made Easy is designed to be taught in a group setting, and a teacher’s guide is provided. UWLES partner agencies MAC, Inc. and Wicomico County Public Libraries use the Wellness Made Easy curriculum with their clients.

Is your organization interested in offering Wellness Made Easy to those you serve? Assistance with printing and implementing the curriculum is available, along with pre- and post-assessments.
