LIVE UNITED Response Fund Recipients

Atlantic General Hospital - Vivifyhealth Software:  To fund the purchase of a software package that will track COVID-19 symptoms to protect hospital personnel and patients.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore - Basic Needs:  To provide basic needs such as food and cleaning supplies to families of mentees, and for technology to support offsite case-management 

Catholic Charities-Seton Center - Basic Needs/Food/Case Management:  Providing for essential needs including food, rent and utility assistance to families and individuals in need.

Coastal Hospice & Palliative Care—Hospice Program:  To provide PPE to ensure that Hospice patients and their caregivers are protected during the pandemic.

Chesapeake Housing Mission—Critical Home Repair:  To help offset the increased cost of building supplies, which are needed to provide wheelchair ramps and other safety upgrades so that seniors and those with disabilities can safely remain in their homes.

Delmarva Community Services -
Community Action Center Food Pantry:  Providing additional food, and PPE for food distribution, to those in need including pick-up services at the Food Pantry and home delivery to seniors.
Senior Rural Food Distribution: Providing assistance in the home delivery of Dorchester County seniors who reside in the remote areas of the county. 

Diakonia - Emergency Shelter: To support the increased needs related to operating the emergency shelter during the pandemic, including food and utility costs.

Dove Pointe - Technological Case Management Assistance:  To purchase the technology needed for case managers to continue to care for those with disabilities.

Epoch Dream Center - Food Assistances for Families:  To provide food through delivery and on-site pick-up to local families facing food insecurity.

For All Seasons 
Dorchester School based Tele-Mental Health:  To provide technology for mental health counseling through tele-health for Dorchester County students during school closures.
Uninsured & Under-Insured Patient Assistance: To support the cost of mental health appointments for those lacking sufficient insurance 

Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay - To support the purchase of PPE and cleaning supplies to safely reopen the Salisbury office and Camp Sandy Pines in Fruitland

Habitat for Humanity Wicomico Count- Community Building:  Supporting the completion of a building project that will provide the opportunity for homeownership to a local family

It Takes A Village - Faces of Somerset After-School/Summer Program:  To create weekly educational and enrichment packets.

Life Crisis Center- To support the purchase of furniture to allow for socially distant counseling sessions. 

Lower Shore Shelter  To provide transportation to Covid testing sites, temporary isolated housing, and other supports for homeless individuals impacted by Covid-19.

MAC, Inc. - Senior Care:  To support direct care, including prescriptions, groceries, and hygiene supplies to seniors in the Senior Care program as they shelter at home.

Mid Shore Mediation Center--Dorchester Mediation Services:  To support the cost of PPE and other safety supplies so that critical in-person mediation for youth and families can resume in Dorchester County.

One Year to EmpowermentSummer Activities:  To purchase supplies to safely implement youth programming this summer and transition to outdoor activities 

Positive Strides—Equine Assisted Learning:  To support the purchase of PPE and individual helmets and riding supplies to ensure that clients and volunteers can resume their Equine Assisted Learning activities during the pandemic.

Recovery Resource Center - Community Center:  Providing staffing support to ensure that those struggling with addiction have access to 24-hour assistance.

Salisbury Cold Weather Shelter:  To provide food, PPE, and cleaning supplies for the emergency shelter providing overnight stays and three meals per day for up to 35 homeless men.

Salvation Army-Cambridge - House of Hope Shelter:  To support the costs of operating the emergency homeless shelter as it faces increased demand.

Salvation Army Salisbury - Social Services, Food Bank:  To help with the purchase of food and PPE to meet increased demand for emergency food for families and seniors.

Salisbury Urban Ministries - Lazarus Food Pantry: Providing additional food to individuals and families struggling with food insecurity during the pandemic.

Wicomico Library—Project READ:  To support technology and training to allow participants in the adult literacy program Project READ to continue their progress in a virtual format.

Worcester County Development Center - Staffing Needs:  To support needs of residential homes for those with disabilities while day programs are canceled. 

Worcester County GOLD - Emergency Financial Assistance:  Funding emergency financial needs including rent, utilities, and prescriptions for residents of Worcester County.

YMCA of the Chesapeake -
Dorchester Shelter of Care:  Supporting the purchase of supplies and materials needed to offer childcare for the children of first responders.
Summer at the Y: Creating partial scholarships for summer day camp at the Robbins Family YMCA for children whose parents are required to report to work during Phase 2 of the recover
