Helping Immigrant Neighbors Fund is an independent fund established in support of local vetted community partners and programs supporting our immigrant neighbors in need. This fund supports local nonprofits providing food, housing & related basic needs to our immigrant neighbors on the Lower Eastern Shore.
An average of 45% of households in our four-county region are ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed). These are working families, seniors, single parents, young professionals and neighbors with disabilities who struggle each day to make ends meet. And immigrant households are often at greater risk.
