Pepsi’s Partnership with United Way is helping to Impact Local Lives

By choosing to drink from United Way Pepsi machines, Lower Eastern Shore residents are able to enjoy their favorite soft drink products, knowing they are helping to improve the lives of their neighbors in need. With products purchased from the specially marked machines, a percentage of every dollar or $1.25 purchase is donated to United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore. In less than a year, the initiative has raised over $1,910 with nearly 45 local companies participating.

Pepsi Bottling Ventures has a longstanding partnership with United Way. Since 2000, employee and corporate campaign contributions have totaled nearly $564,000 and are annually ranked among the “Top 50” companies that contribute to United Way.

David Goslee, Director of Food Service for Pepsi Bottling Ventures shared, “As one of the top ten local supporters of United Way, we are proud to further our partnership to help local people benefitting from health, financial stability and educational programs… one can of Pepsi at a time.” For more information on the United Way Pepsi Machine Program, contact Food Service Representative, Daryl Gregory at 410-341-9045 or
